If there was an antidote

If there was an antidote,
An antidote for death, everyone would be happy,
And there would be no sighs of complaint.
Just throw it up into the air and mothers, fathers,
Grandmothers and grandfathers would sail down from the sky,
Even much loved dogs and fluffy cats would be in our arms, no lie.
Smiles would sail through the air and onto people’s faces,
Oh, I wish I wish I wish there was an antidote for death.
