Butterflies of Hope by Saja Abdou

When  I was about to surrender to reality,

Butterflies of hope came and whispered in my ear:

“Don’t give up, because the one who transformed her hunger to a rebel pushing away the spikes of darkness can pluck the veil of darkness from her insides, and plant seeds of light in her skies to remember that hope still exists, even if it hides in the folds of riddles and clouds.”

So I stood then with pride gazing at the beauty of the sun, asking her to accompany me with her light that brings me hope from far away.
