Imagination And My Reality by Charlie Palethorpe

Faraway in an imaginary world, war exists

And loved ones dying is a reality

There is the sound of bomb shells shaking my brain

In a place beyond my imagination

People are dying

People are taken

But in my reality peace is here

Makes me thank everything I have

A plate of food, a roof on my head

Here we are happy, living the life

That some couldn’t dream

But we still take it for granted

Treat it like the norm

But we have peace from the moment we are born

Just believe and you will no longer mourn
