Listen by Lola

In my daisy chain I place:

a scattering of marbles

an assortment of chocolates

10 three year-olds in an orderly line

a wooden beach ball

a panda with an extra toe

a black umbrella in a sea of colour

the Philippine islands fading to grey

and two synchronised swimmers,

breaths  steady  and perfectly in sync.
