To all the children in Palestine – By Grace Jarrett Rawlence

This poem was written to all the children in Palestine:

As you live, as you walk, life is always a question.
And even when you tell yourself that there is no other way, there is an answer to your questions, you just have to be up for finding it.

And once you find it, you will know how to look forward and to find a way to keep living, to carry on, to keep giving. You will know that the sun will shine after it has been raining, that you will always end up laughing after you have been crying.

You will know that after a tree is cut down, all the energy is stored in its roots and a new one will grow in its spot, always.
