The Time will Come

George Brain and Toby Thompson

Amena Akter Arifa

Our hands will write

The future of the world,

So our children’s feet

Will walk that future,

The time will come

Where people lose faith

Along the journey of life,

But you must hold on

Through the hard times

For good times will come.

The sun beams down on you,

And life seems like a solved puzzle;

But the Autumn leaves of despair

Begin to fall,

The puzzle shatters into thousands of pieces;

Change was the wind that blows these leaves,

The sharp icicles of anger

Pierce through your heart,

Slowly the icicles melt

Revealing a hopeful future.
